Rain may not be the first thing you hope for on your engagement session day, but there’s something undeniably magical about a misty, rain-kissed Central Park! As someone who grew up in the rainforest, dealing with rain every day (or the whole day for half of the year), I’ve come to embrace these unexpected weather moments, knowing they add depth, mood, and intimacy to each frame. Jason & Meabh live in Ireland, where, as they said, sunny days are the exception. So, of course, we had lots of fun (and got very wet), but it was also a perfect moment for a proposal with Central Park just for us!

Rather than rescheduling, Jason & Meabh decided to embrace the forecast and ventured into Wagner Cove's surroundings, turning the drizzly afternoon into something straight out of a love story. The gentle rain added a cinematic quality, with raindrops catching the light and softening the world around them, making even more beautiful the 35mm photos.
