I had the chance to photograph the promotional and branding images for the launch of Time Wasting, the new podcast by Kelley O’Hara and Ali Riley, produced by Just Women’s Sports. The goal wasn’t stiff publicity photos. It was energy. Movement. Real laughter. The kind of imagery that feels conversational, exactly what you expect when two best friends decide to start a podcast.
I always try to keep the balance between branding and documentary-style storytelling, so we allow space for spontaneity, and I love when branding sessions as they're all about personality. This session was filled with the chemistry between Kelley and Ali, and you can feel it in the images.
