Some questions you might have...
"What's your style?"
I love candid and spontaneous moments and do my best to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, giving you space to be yourself. I photograph with both digital and analog cameras—35mm film is always included at no extra cost. My photography style is mostly documentary, so you can relax, have fun, and enjoy your time while I capture it all naturally.

"How do I book a date?"
Once we’ve discussed the details of your session or event and chosen the best package for you, I require a 50% retainer payment and a signed contract to secure your date. The remaining balance is due once I deliver the images.

"How many photos will I receive?"
I deliver all of the best images from your day, excluding only any blinks, test shots, or out-of-focus frames. On average, this works out to around 40 photos per hour of coverage. The usual ratio between film and digital photos is approximately 35–40% film and 60–65% digital.

"What's the turnaround time?"
Your photos will be delivered within 15 business days via a PicTime gallery. Print prices are not included, but you’ll have the option to order directly through the gallery if you’d like.

"How does payment work?"
I accept Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. A 50% retainer is required to confirm your booking, with the remaining balance due upon delivery of the final images.

"What if I have to cancel or reschedule?"
If we’re planning an outdoor session and the weather doesn’t cooperate—or if someone is sick—we can absolutely reschedule, and your retainer will go toward a new date. If you need to reschedule for another reason, please let me know at least 14 days in advance to avoid a rescheduling fee. No-shows or cancellations without notice are not eligible for a refund.
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes, I carry full liability insurance and can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) upon request. Many venues require this, so just let me know if you or your venue needs a copy.

"Can I bring someone with me?"
Absolutely. Bring anyone who makes you feel comfortable — a partner, a friend, even your pet. The more relaxed you feel, the more natural the photos will be.

"What if I don't know a good location?"
I’m happy to help you pick a great location! Just tell me a little about the vibe or aesthetic you're going for, and I’ll suggest spots that match.

“Do you travel for sessions?”
Yes! I’m based in New York City but love photographing all over the world! For sessions outside NYC, I charge $2 per mile (round trip) or a custom travel fee for farther destinations. For weddings and events outside the NY area, travel and accommodation costs will be discussed in advance.

"Can I have the unedited photos or film negatives?"
I carefully curate and edit every image to reflect my style and the story of your day. For that reason, I don’t deliver unedited RAW files or film negatives. You’ll receive the fully edited images that best represent your session.

"How can I order prints?"
You’ll receive a link to your PicTime gallery, where you can easily order professional-quality prints. Prints are not included in your session fee.

“I feel awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?”
Absolutely! My sessions are very relaxed, not posed or stiff. I’ll give you gentle direction and prompts to help you loosen up so we can capture authentic, natural moments instead of forced smiles.
