Dance and performing arts photography lives in movement, rhythm, and presence. My work focuses on documenting the expressive language of the body, capturing dancers and performers in moments where technique, emotion, and imagination intersect.
Based in New York City, I collaborate with dancers, choreographers, companies, and independent performers to create images that feel alive and intentional. Rather than freezing movement for perfection, I photograph performances, rehearsals, and conceptual sessions with a documentary approach, honoring the process as much as the final form. Motion blur, layered exposures, and in-camera experimentation are often part of the visual language, allowing the work to reflect the lived experience of performance.
Sessions can take place on stage, in rehearsal studios, outdoor environments, or site-specific locations. I work with both digital and 35mm film, depending on the project’s needs, creating images suited for portfolios, grant applications, press materials, promotional campaigns, and archival documentation.
Performing arts and dance photography services are available throughout New York City and beyond, with a collaborative process that centers the artist’s vision.
